* Fry confuses Hermes for someone else * "A Pharoah to Remember" - in Bender's tomb Fry and Lela pretend to have forgotten about Bender and Fry remembers Hermes as the guy who used to bend things * "War is the H-Word" - After Lee Lemon steals the helicopter, Fry wonders if it is Hermes in disguise
* Non-linear time * "The Lesser of Two Evils" - Fry says that if he wants to go back to the year 2000, he'll just freeze himself again * "The Cryonic Woman" - a defrostee says that he froze himself because he wanted to meet Shakespeare and he figured time was cyclical
* Questioning the validity of science on a question with an obvious answer * "The Honking" - a villager claims that "modern science" cannot explain how a robot walks or talks * "Goodfellas" - Bender wonders why the humans' "precious science" is unable to explain why the palm tree gets sick every time he cooks
